GONE has been selected to appear at the NewFest NY's Premiere LBGT Film Festival. It will be shown on July 24 and July 27.
The link below is the link to the the page about GONE
The more visits the page gets , the higher up the queue it appears on the NewFest web site BUZZ page. From what I understand, viewers often use this page as a base to select the films they want to see.
I am asking everyone to take a second and click on the link attached below. You don't need to do anything else. Just visit the page once, and if you would, please pass this on to anyone else you know who would be willing to help out.

I just came back from San Francisco where GONE screened twice, sold out, at the Frameline35 International Film Festival and met with California State Senator Mark Leno who was very interested in Aeryn's story and wants to explore policy changes within the US State Department in the way they handle missing US Citizens Abroad. I also met other LGBT activists as well as Straight Allies that have offered up some wonderful suggestions as well as given me contact information for people who may be of assistance.
The three screnings at the Tribeca Film Festival were also sold out. NYS Assemblyman (and brother of Rosie) Danny O'Donnell was there along with the Austrian Minister of Cultural Affairs based in NYC.
I apologize for just now writing all this. The Festivals has been encouraging, exciting, at times a lot of fun, but the sobering reality is that I am there because Aeryn is not here. So many of you have made it possible to get Aeryn's story out there, and I am so thankful to you. I am aware that this film will not bring Aeryn home, but hopefully it will help remind people that hatred in the form of homophobia, racism, xenophobia etc., is alive and growing. For all the other Aeryn's out there, I hope the film connects.
Thanks to all of you.
